No, I’m not being fresh, Hello Baby is the name of the shop that we are featuring in this week’s episode! Now you may be wondering why a 50 something woman is shopping in a baby store, but it was Luca’s second birthday (my niece’s son) and I had to see what was out there. I came across Hello Baby in a neighbourhood strip mall and loved their story!
Amy & Jason Habicht were expecting their first child and, like me, started scouring Regina for exactly what they wanted. Unlike me, they were unable to find what they were after so they did something about it; they opened up Hello Baby to remedy the situation and bring cool, high quality baby & toddler gear to parents in Regina! I just love that story because that’s how communities like ours grow and thrive. It’s not the big box stores, or the nationwide chains that make us who we are as a community, it’s people like Amy and Jason that bring their passion to all of us!

Oh and check out Luca at the end of the clip – he is just the cutest, sweetest kid – I call him Boo Boo and I am definitely not biased in any way shape or form. OK, I am but he IS cute!
