Titanic Exhibition

This segment is one that I truly enjoyed doing.  It’s the Titanic exhibit currently at the Saskatchewan Science Centre.  I got the full tour from Colette Parks just before we did this piece for you.  We didn’t have time to view the full exhibit in the video so you really have to get yourself down there to see it for yourself.  The experience is fascinating, beautiful and downright awe inspiring and treats all the senses.  The staff is extremely knowledgeable about the many artifacts on display – one of the most amazing things to me was the paper money that had survived nearly 100 years due to the fact that it was found within a wallet and the tanning process used back then preserved it!  I found this all out during my tour.

I hope that you enjoy the video and then get down to the Sask Science Centre before the exhibit moves on in March.  Remember the 100th anniversary of the sinking is coming up in April so there’s no better time to see it!
