Top Prospects

In this episode of City Sleuth we met a very special guest, one whom you probably watch every week during football season.  Shomari Williams, defensive end for the Saskatchewan Roughriders met with to talk about his business called Top Prospects.  Shomari, who as well as being a CFL football here, earned a BBA from the University of Houston and is putting it to good use by combining his passion for entrepreneurship and athletics.

Top Prospects offers an avenue for aspiring high school athletes so get their information and game tapes in front of coaches across Canada and the US who are always looking for talent to add to their rosters.  The nicest thing is that it is free to student athletes.  Shomari also gave us some tips on what it takes to score those athletic scholarships, and if you thought it was luck, you’d be wrong.  It takes hard work, both on the field or court and in the classroom as well, since as Shomari reminds us; your athletic career could disappear at any time but your education won’t.
