I had so much fun with this episode of City Sleuth. Perhaps it’s because I’m American but the Royal Canadian Mounted Police holds a mystique for me. At the Heritage Center, the displays of old & new are amazing. You can check out the history of the RCMP from world wars through to the ruggedness of Canada’s northern wilds. The interactive displays showing modern forensics as you investigate a staged crime scene tickled the kid in me too! I happened to come on a day when they were doing a kid’s day camp and turning out tiny cadets, which I thought was a brilliant idea and it sure looked like the kids loved it too! Check out the video:
Then get on down to the heritage Center, bring the kids, get them signed up for day camps this summer and be proud of a truly unique Canadian icon!
